These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Frametion (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including frametion.com, our marketing pages, and the browser-based editor at /app/. By accessing or using Frametion, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About Frametion
Frametion is a browser-based motion studio that helps users turn static images into animated compositions, video loops, and exported mockups. The product is provided for creative, marketing, and commercial use of your own source material, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Frametion. If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Your account and access
The current Frametion experience does not require a user account to browse the marketing site or use the editor. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, browser, and network connection while using the service.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Frametion only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- infringe intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights of another person or entity;
- upload, generate, or distribute unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, or harmful material;
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or compromise the service or its infrastructure;
- misrepresent your affiliation with Frametion or use the service to distribute malware or spam.
You are solely responsible for the images, branding, copy, and other materials you upload or use in the editor, including ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to use and export them.
Your content and exports
You retain ownership of the source material you provide and of the exports you create, subject to any third-party rights in the underlying assets. Frametion does not claim ownership over your uploads or exported output under the current product behavior described on this page.
Because the editor processes compositions locally in your browser, you are responsible for saving and backing up exported files and for maintaining copies of important work. Do not rely on Frametion as the sole storage location for source images or final deliverables.
Intellectual property
Frametion, including its website, editor, templates, interface, branding, documentation, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service as intended, these Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in Frametion or its technology.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Frametion platform except as expressly permitted by us in writing or by the normal operation of the product.
Templates, previews, and exports
Motion templates, controls, and export features are provided to help you create polished output from your own assets. We may update, add, remove, or modify templates, export formats, canvas options, and editor features at any time. Visual results may vary by browser, device, uploaded assets, and selected settings.
Service availability
Frametion is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or compatibility with every browser, operating system, or hardware configuration. Maintenance, updates, outages, and third-party service interruptions may affect availability without prior notice.
Fees and future paid features
Frametion may be offered for free during certain periods or in certain configurations. If paid plans, subscriptions, or premium features are introduced later, additional terms and pricing information will be presented before you are charged.
Third-party services and links
The site may reference or link to third-party websites, tools, fonts, analytics providers, or other services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Frametion is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that exports will meet every creative, technical, or platform requirement you may have.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Frametion and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.
To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Frametion and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, your exports, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using Frametion at any time. We may suspend or discontinue access to the service, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be presented on the site before they take effect where required by law. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Frametion is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
