This Privacy Policy explains how Frametion (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit frametion.com, use our marketing pages, or work inside the browser-based Frametion editor at /app/. We aim to be transparent about what the product does today and what may change if optional services are enabled later.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to visitors of our public website, users of the Frametion editor, and anyone who contacts us by email or through configured site forms. It does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services that may be linked from Frametion.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Frametion, we may process the following categories of information:
- Contact information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, and message contents.
- Technical and usage information generated when you browse the site, including browser type, device characteristics, referring pages, and basic request logs maintained by our hosting provider.
- Editor workflow data processed locally in your browser session, including images you upload for composition, preview, and export.
- Preference data stored in your browser when the editor or site saves interface settings locally.
How we use information
We use information to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Frametion website and editor;
- respond to support requests, feedback, partnership inquiries, and privacy-related questions;
- monitor site reliability, security, and performance;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms where applicable.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not use uploaded editor images to build advertising profiles or to train unrelated machine-learning models.
Browser-based editor
Frametion is designed to run in your browser. The current editor does not provide user accounts, cloud project libraries, or a site-operated file-upload service for long-term storage of your source images. Images you add to a composition are handled in your current browser session for preview and export unless you separately save them on your device.
Because processing happens locally, your uploads are not intentionally transmitted to Frametion servers for persistent project storage under the current product behavior described on this page.
Website communications
Our marketing site does not require an account to browse. If you email us or submit a message through a configured contact endpoint, the recipient of that communication receives the information you provide. Please do not send sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your request.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public marketing site is primarily static and does not require cookies for account login or checkout because those features are not offered. The editor may use browser storage for interface preferences supplied by its runtime.
Optional analytics or advertising integrations, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or AdSense, are disabled unless explicitly configured by the site operator. If enabled in the future, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies, and this page will be updated before such use is presented as active.
Data retention
Contact messages are retained only as long as needed to respond, maintain business records, or meet legal requirements. Editor session data is not advertised as persistent cloud storage and generally remains under your browser’s control. Hosting and infrastructure providers may retain server logs for a limited period according to their own retention practices.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object to particular uses. You can also clear browser storage or stop using the editor at any time.
To make a privacy request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Children’s privacy
Frametion is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete it where required.
International visitors
If you access Frametion from outside the country where our hosting providers operate, your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. By using the site, you understand that information may be transferred and processed as described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be presented on the site before they take effect where required by law.
